Goodbye to Karra
Today is Karra´s last day at school.
We are all very sad because she is leaving, but happy because we were able to spend so much time together learning many interesting things about her country, culture and language…
We hope to see her again. Meanwhile, we wish her all the best.

Guadalquivir River Presentation
As part of the Etwinning project “Our beautiful river”, all the student members have worked on a specific topic related to our river. Using their information, we have elaborated a presentation to show their work. I hope you like it and you learn a lot about “our beautiful river”.
Como parte del proyecto de Etwinning “Our beautiful river”, todos los socios han trabajado en un tema especíco relacionado con nuestro río. Usando esta información, hemos elaborado una presentación para mostraros su trabajo. Espero que os guste y que aprendáis mucho sobre nuestro hermoso río.
Online project: ¨Our Beautiful River¨
Los alumnos de 2º ciclo de primaria (3º y 4º) vamos a participar en un proyecto europea desde la plataforma Etwinning con otros dos socios: Polonia y Rumania. El proyecto se llama “Our Beautiful river”. Vamos a intercambiar información y datos de interés sobre los ríos que atraviesan nuestras ciudades, en nuestro caso, el Guadalquivir.

The students from 3rd and 4th grade are going to participate in a European project with two other members from Poland and Romania through an online platform called Etwinning. The project is called ¨Our Beautiful River¨. We are going to exchange information and interesting details about the rivers that flow through our cities, in our case, the Guadalquivir River.

The Murray: Australia´s most important river.
The students from 3rd grade have learned some interesting things about the most important river in Australia – the Murray River. I hope it gives them some ideas to get started on their project called ‘Our Beautiful River’ on Sevilla’s Guadalquivir River.

A small presentation for third grade on mountain and coastal landscapes in Australia using two regions: the Blue Mountains and the city of Wollongong (my two homes in Australia).
Os ofrezco una pequeña presentación que he preparado para los niños de tercero sobre paisajes montañosos y costeros, usando el ejemplo de dos distintas regiones australianas: las montañas azules y la ciudad de Wollongong (dos de mis hogares en Australia).

Día de Andalucía
The spirit of Andalusia was resonating throughout the school last week as we celebrated the 28th of February, el Día de Andalucía! There was face painting of green and white flags, and a beautiful flower presentation put together by the students with each flower petal representing one of the eight unique provinces that unite Andalusia.
Excursion to the Science Museum!
Last week, we went on an excursion with grades 3 and 4 to parque Maria Luisa and the Science Museum nearby. We saw the many tiled alcoves in Plaza de España, each representing a different province of Spain. In the Science Museum, we entered the planetarium and saw displays of all sorts of mammals and insects. It was a very educational day and lots of fun!
