The spirit of Andalusia was resonating throughout the school last week as we celebrated the 28th of February, el Día de Andalucía! There was face painting of green and white flags, and a beautiful flower presentation put together by the students with each flower petal representing one of the eight unique provinces that unite Andalusia.
Last week, we went on an excursion with grades 3 and 4 to parque Maria Luisa and the Science Museum nearby. We saw the many tiled alcoves in Plaza de España, each representing a different province of Spain.
